As the year comes to an end and holiday lights brighten our homes while the winter wind carries memories and hopes, we turn to all of you — the people who believe that nature is our shared home and our shared responsibility.

2025 was a year of challenges, but also a year of bold steps forward. We witnessed communities, scientists, volunteers, and partners unite around a single cause — to restore life and balance in the Black Sea and to give the ancient sturgeon species a chance to continue their story. These fish, living witnesses of millions of years of evolution, remind us how fragile and how precious everything around us truly is.

Thank you for standing with us throughout the year — with your support, your participation, your ideas, and your care. Thank you for believing that change is possible when we work together.

May Christmas bring you peace, warmth, and time with the people you love. May it offer you that quiet moment in which to remember why nature matters — for the clean air, for the water, for the life we all share.

And may the New Year be one of courage, new solutions, and restoration — for us, and for the sea that nourishes, inspires, and connects us.
