A commitment to the future
Protection of biodiversity in Bulgaria Foundation carries out, promotes, supports and popularizes activities focused on the protection of biological diversity and although it focuses on nature in Bulgaria, the activities of the Foundation can be extended on a global scale. Ecosystem and wildlife conservation projects that help develop sustainable models and serve as catalysts to encourage others to support are seen as a priority.
Mission
It is not necessary that the prosperity of mankind is at the expense of the Earth, therefore we, the people of Protection of biodiversity in Bulgaria Foundation, determined to preserve and protect nature, aim to reverse the process of loss of biological diversity and the destruction of ecosystems and minimize the strongest negative impacts on nature. And as former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says: "Although individual steps may seem small against the background of global threats and trends, joining the efforts of billions of people in a common goal can make significant changes."
